The Sacred Riana is "Asia's Got Talent Season 2" Grand Winner
Indonesia's shock performer/ magician The Sacred Riana won the second season of Southeast Asian pan-regional reality show Asia's Got Talent (AGT). Her creepy performances leaves the viewers of AGT petrified. Watching the performance will definitely make you feel "scared" of the "sacred" Riana.
In 2013, Riana who's real name is Mari Antoinette Riana Graharani was a finalist on Indonesian magician talent search show, The Next Mentalist.
On the other hand, the Pinoy hiphop dancer group DM-X Comvaleñoz placed second. Filipinos are definitely talented and there's no question about that. Pinoy have great dancers, great singers and apprarently, they have also great beatboxer. Neil Rey Garcia Llanes managed to placed third during the grand finals. Last year's grand winner El Gamma Penumbra and third placer Gerphil Flores were also hailed from the Philippines.
The Mongol digital dancer Canion Shijirbat. He also appeared in the second season of Mongolia's Got Talent where he placed second. He also competed in the twelfth season of America's Got Talent, only to be eliminated during the Judge Cuts. His audition in this season occurred a few months after his Judge Cuts performance and a few weeks after said performance was aired in the United States.
Meanwhile, Malaysian magician Sobhi Shaker and Kyrgyzs contortionist dance group ADEM Dance Crew were awarded "the middle two". ADEM Dance Crew was a finalist on the sixth season of Cesko Slovensko Ma Talent. They also received a golden buzzer during the auditions.
Lastly, the Pinoy hiphop dance group Urban Crew, Taiwanese electric ukuleleist Feng E as well as the Indonesian singer/harpist Angela July were in "the bottom three".
The winner of Asia's Got Talent received a grand prize of US$100,000.
For the first time in Got Talent franchise history, this season used of completely online voting methods. The audience members and viewers at home in Asia voted through Facebook, Messenger and Google search.
The show is hosted by Alan Wong and Justin Bratton while the judges are David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park.
