VIETNAM WINS MISTER UNIVERSAL AMBASSADOR!

Early pageant favorite Luong Gia Huy of Vietnam did not disappoint supporters by winning the third edition of Mister Universal Ambassador. Held Friday evening at Makassar, Indonesia, the annual international pageant celebrates with the theme The importance of soft skills for youth within the 21st Century. 




Luong bested 17 other delegates for the crown. The 5'11" talk hunk was the successor of last year's winner, Aleksa Gavrilovic from Serbia.

Finishing second is Mister Philippines, Paul Guarnes who nailed the question and answer round during the final 3. On the other hand, Mister Sweden, Johannes Ulmefors finished in third place.

Rounding out the winners circle are Gilbert Pangalila of Indonesia and Rohit Jakhar of India.

Completing the top 10 were Shakboz Makhmudov of Uzbekista, Elvis Murillo of Nicaragua, Thirawat Madtayaboon of Thailand, Andris Varga of Hungary and Anas Dzulkefflee of Malaysia.

According to misteruniversalambassador.com, the pageant presents a challenging and competitive final night. This year, all contestants were evaluated based on the following: World Speech Contest, Universal Fashion Festival, Talent Show, Sport Competition and Portofolio Presentation.

Aside from the big winners, other delegates also received special awards:

Sport Session Winner: Shakboz Makhmundov of Uzbekiztan
Speech Session Winner: Paul Guarnes of the Philippines
Top Model Winner: Luong Gia Huy of Vietnam
Best in Interview: Johannes Ulmefors of Sweden

Mister Malaysia Anaz Dzulkefflee won Mister Congeniality while the most photogenic award went to Mister Uzbekistan Shakboz Makhmudov. On the other hand, Elvis Murillo from Nicaragua won for his national costume.
